About Proair

Proair - High Volume, Low Speed fans (HVLS) are a type of mechanical fans that are greater than 7 feet (2.1 m) in diameter. They move slowly, but distribute large amount of air and hence the name, HVLS. A good quality HVLS fan can reduce the temperature of the surrounding by 7-11 degrees. They don’t just move air; they work smartly and efficiently to circulate air to positively impact the ambiance.

HVLS fans produce high volume, cylindrical column of air that flows straight down to the floor and outward in all directions. Hence they are apt for large spaces where they consistently circulate air. They are mainly used for industrial and commercial applications where air conditioning is either costly or impractical. Fans installed in spaces like Warehouses, Hangars and Distribution Centers can prevent heat stress, and increase employee comfort and productivity.
